Is there any chance we could see this stuff without having to pick up those devices? I’d love to see the videos but a walking tour is my idea of a nightmare . . . hardly in the spirit of indie rock and roll. Plus, for people with visual impairments, a mobile phone screen is bloody useless.

Hi Phil
The content is definitely designed to be listened to and viewed in the locations the bands performed. I’d argue that a pilgrimage to the site of a live session recording of a favourite band is pretty rock and roll – more so than an online video anyway :)
Having said that, some of the bands and filmmakers have uploaded their performances on to vimeo or youtube – so you may be able to catch a sneak peek there.
Small screens definitely pose an issue for the visually impaired – our digital maps do rely on someone being able to see them for navigating the city. However, if you know where the performances are in advance, or travel in a group, the experience can be enjoyed without looking at the screen – the small screen videos supplement the live performance recordings, but are not vital.
